Airlines

This whole new policy of requiring people to present the credit card used to purchase the flight at check in is frustrating. Turkish Airlines requires the card and card holder to be present at check in. Not a big deal if you buy your own ticket, but a very big problem if you don't. Especially if the card holder is out of town May 13th, the day of your flight.

Solution? The cardholder, who lives in Wisconsin (it's Allison's dad), must drive to Chicago to go to the service counter any time before our flight to show his ID and card and... what? Give permission? I literally cannot figure out a reason for this policy. Thought at least we figured it out now, not that night.

I have a feeling we are in for quite a few travel headaches during this trip.

You know, people always stress the importance of traveling and seeing the world. So why is it so complicated??
